I am so excited to share Meagan & Scott’s lovely wedding, not only because they had such a great group of vendors to make it happen, but because it proves even with lousy weather you can have an absolutely PERFECT wedding day! We started the day at the Marriott & Embassy Suites where the wedding party was getting ready and then had the couple’s first look at Garfield Park in downtown. As luck would have it, about 5 minutes later it began to rain…a lot…so we moved to Union Terminal Cincinnati Museum Center, the old train terminal, where we were able to capture the rest of the wedding party pictures and get some great pictures on the 2nd level with just the bride & groom. Then it was off to the church! By the end of the ceremony, the rain had ceased, and we were able to get a few more wedding party pictures at the landing in Covington before heading over to the Metropolitan Club for the reception. It was the evening of the annual WEBN labor day fireworks, but right as they began, SO did the torrential downpour of rain…but this couple did not care! They ran outside, watched the fireworks, danced in the rain, and made me one happy photographer to be able to shoot it all!
