Sarah and I were texting the Thursday prior to her wedding day when she told me she was really sick with Bronchitis but was hopeful her medication would kick in quickly. Well, she wasn’t 100% by Saturday so between Cincinnati’s rainy weather and illness we kept thing simple. Luckily, they picked one of our favorite and beautiful venues, The Phoenix, for their day so we had a gorgeous backdrops inside and out for portraits. Sarah was such a trooper and Chris was right along side her helping her soak in all the excitement of their day. It’s in those moments we remember that the wedding (although the main reason we are there) is just the start of the marriage, that’s the forever part.
