Fall has arrived so you know what that means….  it’s time to start looking ahead and planning for the next year!

Every year I offer the opportunity for new interns to join my team to learn the ins and outs of photography, as well as how to apply those skills to shooting weddings & events and effectively running a business.   

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

-Motivated individuals who will quickly learn new skills.

-Someone is who reliable and efficient.

-A person is can easily adapt to change (every wedding/event is different).

-A person with strong work ethic – there is no “calling off” on a wedding day.

-Someone with a passion for photography/weddings and desire to learn.

-Someone who is professional, mature, kind – and has a smile on their face all day long.

-Availability on select Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays the months of March-November predominantly.

Please note that the internship portion of this position will not paid, but could and SHOULD lead to a paid second shooter position within our team based on performance.  Second Shooters for the MPP team are paid $20-$30/hr based on performance.   This is an excellent opportunity to learn (hands on) and get your skill set to where you strive for it to be.   All candidates will be required to attend company “workshop training” sessions and a minimum of 2 planned shoots/events/weddings before the 2019 season begins. 

Things we will cover during the internship with MPP: 

Camera Setting Basics (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, exposure, white balance, etc.)

Posing & Client Interaction

Lighting (natural & off camera)

Post processing and workflow

Branding & Marketing Strategies
