I first met Allie when she was the MOH in her best friend’s wedding last year. So when Allie contacted me to shoot her wedding shortly after she got engaged, I was super excited because I knew it would be a great group to work with! Plus, I love reunions with my past brides / grooms 🙂
I started with Allie and the girls for some getting ready pictures at her SIL’s house before heading over to Babe’s Cafe for the couple’s first look. They picked this spot because this is where the super cute duo, Allie & Josh, first met! After a quick toast, the entire group was off to do bridal party pictures before the ceremony. After being somewhat kicked out of Mt. Echo Park , we had to quickly think of another nearby place to go…(not even sure HOW you can be asked to leave a public park at 3pm because they are having an evening wedding there??? ) But it worked out great, we just scooted over to Piatt (Garfield) Park downtown and finished up our shots there! Then is was off to the Church and Reception for the rest of the festivities!
Allie, Josh, and all of their friends were having such a good time, the entire day…such a happy couple & it shows! Thank you guys for letting me be a part of your day. Here are some of my favorites!
